The Story Behind the Making!
Growing up in a traditional household, our founder Nirali Charaniya watched her grandma and mom creating ‘natural remedies for skin and hair’. She remembers their hands, gentle and wise, mixing herbs with love and care. Those memories? Absolutely UNFORGETTABLE.
As she continued with her profession as a Chartered Accountant for 14 years, and also being a mother of 2 daughters, while introducing some self-care to them, she shared her memories of her grandma and mother making skincare and haircare remedies with PURE, FRESH, and NATURAL ingredients marking a very cherishable memory of her life.
And then it hit her—why not share this pure, natural goodness with everyone who’s caught up in the HUSTLE and BUSTLE of daily life?
And that is why she created Glisna!
The name Glisna is inspired from the idea that self care extracted from the ayurvedic ingredients makes you feel connected to the beauty of nature, while also making you glow and shine. Glisna represents nature’s glistening beauty.
It started as her way of showing her daughters, and EACH PERSON out there, that they deserve to feel good while they chase their dreams. Glisna is about bringing nature’s magic into our busy lives. It’s about CELEBRATING OURSELVES, just as we are.
